A half-day course giving a broad understanding of fire hazards and prevention, so all staff know the correct actions to take in an emergency.
Course Details
Whatever type of business you have, or how many people you employ, fire safety must be a main concern. Achieving fire safety in your place of work largely comes down to common sense and, although the business owner is usually the person responsible, there should be a team approach with all staff knowing how they can help prevent fire.
It is crucial that information about fire safety, and about the actions to take in the event of a fire, is always easily accessible to everyone at your place of work. By making sure you have the correct strategies in place, you can easily minimise the risk of a fire emergency.
This course enables staff to meet the requirements of current fire safety legislation — The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated guidance. It is suitable for all staff, in all businesses and organisations.
Accreditation
Worksafe trained us in fire safety and we believe in their accredited approach. CSS are approved to deliver both the fire awareness and fire marshal courses.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and duties as an employer and as an employee.
The fire triangle
Understanding how and why fires can occur, and identifying the main fire hazards in the workplace.
Fire avoidance
Taking steps in effective fire prevention, and common workplace hazards.
Discovering fire
What actions to take on discovery of a fire, and basic firefighting.
Evacuation
The importance of a prompt and safe evacuation, people in need of assistance, and the role of fire wardens.

Yes, we offer on-site training.
Unlike some providers, we provide all training materials, books and certification. All of our equipment is modern and hygienic. We can place your company logo on your certificate if desired.
You may book as an individual, and we will run courses for five to twelve people.
