Course Details
This fire warden training course equips appointed fire wardens with the essential skills and knowledge to minimise fire risks and lead a safe, compliant evacuation.
It enables staff to meet the requirements of current fire safety legislation — The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated guidance — by providing the knowledge necessary to become a fire warden.
Accreditation
Worksafe trained us in fire safety and we believe in their accredited approach. CSS are approved to deliver both the fire awareness and fire marshal courses.
Course Content
Legislation and responsibilities
Summary of current fire safety legislation, the responsible person, the competent person and employees' responsibilities.
Types and causes of fire
Fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment, and general principles of fire prevention including housekeeping.
Signage and notices
Fire action notices, safety signage and lighting.
Evacuation planning
Fire escape plans, evacuation procedure and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs).
The role of the fire warden
Staff training, induction and fire drills, and fire warden responsibilities in the assembly area.

Unlike some providers, we provide all training materials, books and certification. All of our equipment is modern and hygienic. We can place your company logo on your certificate if desired.
You may book as an individual, and we will run courses for five to twelve people.
